Free School Meal Vouchers

Parents of children who are entitled to vouchers for free school meals have already been sent these by post on Friday 27th March.

There are two types of free school meals:

1) Universal free school meals - for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

2) Free school meals for children depending on their families' circumstances.

Only children who receive the second type of free school meal are eligible for vouchers.  If your child is in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 you may still be eligible for the second type of free school meals if your circumstances qualify. 

However, we are not able to issue free school meal vouchers to any families unless they have registered with Salford Council for these.  This is normally done at Eccles Gateway, but as the Gateway is currently closed, this can be done via this website:

Once your application has been accepted, Salford council will notify school and we will send the vouchers to you.
