By exploring and discussing great artists and styles or art, they will come to understand that every artist is unique. Our children are encouraged to take risks and learn from their mistakes as they develop their own style as an artist. They will develop their own opinions and preferences whilst developing their evaluation and and analysis talents. The skills they will develop will be transferable to other aspects of their lives and learning, and should open their eyes to future creative opportunities. The artists our children study reflect the wide diversity of artists in the world, showing pupils that no matter who they are they too can be artists.
